Bernard Langedock, former organiser of Gent-Wevelgem in Flanders Fields, has passed away at the age of 75.

Gent-Wevelgem would not be what it is today without the contribution of Bernard Langedock. In 1995, Bernard became the co-organiser of the spring classic, and together with Luc Gheysens, he helped revive the race. The duo modernized the event and gave Gent-Wevelgem an international profile.
